I Own A 2009 honda accord Ex-l. I Am Having Problems With The engine Not Accelerating When Needed To In Emergency. I Have Come Close To Accidents Twice So Far On The Highway Since The Car Would Not Give Me Pick Up When I Needed To Steer Clear Of Trucks And Cars. I Have Complained To Two Dealers, One In New Jersey And The Other In Mass. Both Dealers Told Me That The Car Is Fine When It Isn’t. At Full Throttle Going From 1000rpm Upto 6000rpm There Is No Pick Up What So Ever. It Is The Same As Going Normal Speed And Pick Up. This Is A Family Car And I Drive With My Two Kids In There Less Then 5 Yrs Of Age. I’ve Had This Issue Since I Purchased The Car And It Was My Mistake That I Did Not Test Drive It Prior To Purchase. I’ve Owned Several honda accords Since 96 And None Of Them Have Had This Serious Dangerous Problem. Please Look Into This Issue. I Am Stuck With An Expensive Lemon. *tr

My 2009 honda accord Ex With Only 32k Miles On It Started To Consume Oil Very Quickly. While The % Oil Life Remaining Indicator Said I Have 30% Life Remaining, The Dipstick Did Not Register Any Oil On It. I’m Glad That I Checked, Because I Shudder At The Possibility Of A Car Crash Due To The engine Dying On The Highway. When I Took The Car To The Dealership, They Handed My A Printed Out Sheet That Stated That A Loss Of 1 Qt Per 1000miles Is Considered Normal. How Is That Possible??? This Is A Serious Defect That honda Does Not Want To Admit To. *tr
